Its only been the 3rd day of my new job and im as busy as a bee, but im lovin it. I mean its my dream industry to be in, advertising. :) Kudos sya. Its a magazine publisher company which had produced great publications, consist of great colleagues, great working environment and also too over-aircon (what english?). Alright, im working in a office that probably set its temparature at minus 10 degree celsius. Everyday, i felt like im gonna freeze to death till i shook when I type and talk, plus my nails were like turning purple!!!!!! Sadly, my jacket din help much :( Perhaps, I need to get those from winter shops. hurhur!
My executive job's busy but manageable. I sell advertisement space to clients, do up advertising contract, look for sponsors etc. And today was an experience, I actually have a recruitment going on, looking for part-timers to sell the publication im working on. I had a vast no. of calls for interview and I finally had my experience of interviewing someone in person. Niceeeee....... Especially when all sorts of people calling in, rather entertaining some of them. Here are some extracts of my memorable calls:
conversation scene 1:
me: hello! good morning! Sya's speaking.
caller: hi! i want interview.
me: grinned* ok, your name please?
caller: no, i want interview. i want to come tmr 3pm at your office.
conversation scene 2:
me: hello
caller: (spoke mandarin) eh miss, i read u all hiring part timer ar?
conversation scene 3:
me: hello
caller: (malay girl) hi, this job unisex?
(however, this malay girl came & brought 2 friends along and i recruited them COS WE NEED MANPOWER!!!)
and the calls goes on n on......
That's all. Im sooooo tired, gonna have a long busy day tmr.
