Had a bit of running here and there yesterday. If ya'll remember the massive job interview I had at NTUC FAIRPRICE HQ for the position of corporate communications, their head of HR called me early yesterday morning. When she mentioned that she was calling from NTUC FAIRPRICE, my heart went "OH MY GODD!" Ok, due to a few reasons I was expecting. First, I thought she was gonna say her regrets for my unsuccessful interview. Second, I thought she was gonna offer me another position there. Lastly, I was thinking "OH NO! Don't tell me I got the job!" And yes, indeed I was offered the position, after all the question attacks I had during the interview to the 45 mins assessment of vocab/grammar test and written translation from mandarin to english and vice versa, I GOT THE OFFER! Wow.. I cant deny that i'm pretty impressive. HEHEHE! Well, I was surprised too as I was the only non-chinese out of the other 5 candidates. Plus, I left the place without pinning hopes on getting the job, totally gave up. Hmmm..

And so they asked me down to the office to collect a piece of medical reference and I had to proceed to a medical centre at Amara for a medical checkup. Strict huh..? But...they got me at a bad time! Of all the free moments I had, they just have to send me for medical checkup during my ahem!, menses. :) So I did everything except the urine test and had to come back after i'm cleared. Ma fan mann! And due to that, both my medical report and starting of job is delayed. Well, I'll hope they'll wait for me. Haha!
